Ranked eleventh of the twelve Great Livery Companies of London, Vintner’s Company acquired its Charter in 1364. The company continued to play a vital role since then with its interests in social, educational and charitable causes in the 21st century as well.
Due to the will of Guy Shuldman in 1446, the investment in the site of the Hall was made. The court meeting was the first to be held in the hall after it was rebuilt in 1671. The venue for hire in London, the Hall, had lost few of its rooms and was allotted a new façade and entrance gates when Upper Thames Street was broadened in 1822. The venue has a Livery Hall, a Drawing Room , A Swan Room and A Gassiot Room which can accommodate from as low as 20 guests to a range of 250 guests for a conference, a business presentation, a birthday party or a mega occasion like wedding and anniversary.
