The HMS Belfast is an ex-Royal Navy Town-Class cruiser and is now turned into a museum ship. The Imperial War Museum now operates this ship. It was built in the year 1938 and in 1971; it was turned into a museum which truly reminds us the unique charm of the British naval heritage. This naval ship is anchored on the famous river Thames between the London and the Tower Bridge. The HMS Belfast is supported as a branch of national museum under Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
