Eco Home is an exclusive exhibition presently going on at the Geffrye Museum addressing widespread and growing anxiety in the transmutation of climate as well as the state of the planet and its effects on our homes along with the way we use, inhabit and ornament them.

Assisted by John Lewis, Eco Home aims at analyzing current ideas around eco-friendly living in a didactic way. It’s true enough to say that the change in climate has left an impact on majorly all the areas of life where the home cannot be an exception. Saving energy and recycling has been a part of routine in the lifestyle for ages. Today the same cause is enjoying not only the revival but also a new significance and urgency. The formula: “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” is instigating us to rejuvenate our habits and conduct. The exhibition offers visitors the meal for a rational thinking on how can they be helped by making trivial but vital changes in their abodes.

Saving resources like electricity and water and opting for renewable resources has become an essential perspective of our lives and consequently been encouraged in this event in London. Simultaneously, the exhibition promises its visitors to be well informed of the design and consumption in a broader perspective and how eco-friendly attitude can not only add a style but also an inspiration towards a novel taste and design.

The Geffrye Museum is working with Oliver Health, the eco designer, in order to achieve a thought-provoking design which accentuates the theme of ecology. The exhibition is accompanied by workshops, debates, talks and the study of the day. According to Oliver, the event displays the scenario of things to come. The Wattson energy meter is a “must watch” element of the show.

Apart from these shows, various workshops and post-show discussions have also been organized. Last Years festival featured multi-talented entertainers. Let’s check it out for this season’s gala. This would be a great 19 day event for those fascinated by theater, art and performance.
